I enjoy reading books a lot, especially culinary books, cookbooks or books about food history. I have a list of 10 cookbooks, it's not all the books I like, but these are some of the special ones. I thought maybe you have a foodie friend or family member who would love to have a cookbook for Christmas...

I love having warm healthy vegetarian pasta dishes in these cold winter days. Especially with all the colorful veggies and fruits that are in season such as fennel, radicchio, apples and oranges.

The recipe came to my mind out of nowhere, really! I had some cannellini beans left from the jar and 1/2 a butternut squash, which I made the other half of it, into a creamy soup...

I've been in Modena once, for a quick stop and I only had the chance to walk into the city center, it was sunset, a very magical moment, watching the city I realized that most of the buildings have the pink, yellow, orange and Sorkh colors (Sorkh is a color between orange, pink & red in Persian). And while the sun were fading in the background the building were changing colors into many other beautiful pinkish nuances. Such a beautiful city...
